Meet Pete

Pete Dawson is a bilingual workforce advocate and founder of Colorado Inclusive Employment, specializing in helping adults with disabilities find meaningful, lasting roles in Colorado’s workforce. Based in Greeley, Pete partners closely with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to coach, train, and encourage  job seekers, while guiding local employers in inclusive hiring practices that lead to loyal, dependable, and well-trained teams.

Pete’s diverse career path brings a unique perspective to his work. With a background in water resource management, legal services, and geospatial technology, he is known for creative problem-solving, team collaboration, and adapting to regulatory environments. His credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Geographic Information Science from the University of Northern Colorado and significant experience as both a water resource specialist and legal services business owner. Through these roles, Pete developed strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills, all of which now serve his mission of workforce inclusion.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, Pete connects with clients and their families from diverse backgrounds. Parents, educators, and businesses trust his results-driven approach and personal commitment to each individual’s success. Pete is dedicated to empowering young adults to build skills, confidence, and independence—and to helping employers benefit from this often-overlooked talent pool.
